Recently I had the opportunity to go back to Everton Scout Camp. Except this time there were a few more young people running around the camp site.
Over 300.
It was a Cub Jamboree. It only happens every 3 years.
Not to self: check calendar before offering help. Back to back weeks of camping may result.
While I was at the ACE camp the week before, I took photos of the field where we would all be camped.
There was a wooden post in the middle of the field, so I used that as a reference and took photos in 4 directions around it.
Here are the before and after photos...
What a difference. It was like a tent city.
This was part of our section.
Tranquility?
Not this week, lol...
There was a gate put up for the event as well.
The week before we had beautiful weather - no rain.
Those clouds looked pretty ominous....
but there's always a silver lining.
In fact there were several that week.
But that's another story...
