Blue skies.. nothing but blue skies.....
Well, maybe not this week.
We had a bit of rain during the week. And then the sun came out.....
This was the first day.... very pretty :)
Wednesday at the Jamboree was Canada Day!
Blue skies prevailed during the day.
There were TONS of activities the kids could choose to do.
water games, crab soccer, jousting,
mummywraps ( no, not me)
catapults, frisbee golf,
inflatable obstacle course & maze,
riding bulls, rock walls... the list went on
Far too many to do them all and the kids had a hard time choosing
what they would do.
This was the highlight of the week for me...
First time I've ever been in a hot air balloon - it was fantastic!
Look at that flame!
You could feel the heat of the flame too.
Hang on to your hats.. up we go!
(Does that kid look like he's holding onto dear life?)
(or maybe chewing on the basket...)
I definitely want to go on a full ride, where it's not attached to the ground :)
Even though the kids had done the obstacle course before, they all wanted to go back.
the wall...
My son made it over the wall.
Sometimes he drives me up one...
but not this one.
I thought this was pretty cool ...
Rappelling. Very challenging too.
The day ended with some rain.
So we had a campfire anyway.
Thank goodness for the food tents.
And it wasn't raining that hard then.
During the night is another story.
Let's just say I'm glad we had good quality tents that night.
Some didn't fair so well and woke up
to indoor pools.
But that's another story.
