So last night... or ..er... ehem... this morning, when I went to bed, I couldn't fall asleep for a while. I had a gazillion thoughts about things to blog about. Does this happen to every new blogger? And then when you wake up it goes like this ... what was that amazing thing I was going to write about?
aha! I need to keep a notepad and pen beside my bed for those brilliant thoughts and ideas. This was happening well before I blogged...
Another aha - finding the link where to make a new post, lol....obviously I'm there. Still figuring out navigation on this site.
Today was a fun day - First, I got to play tennis again, after a 2 week lull... and was able to take some frustrations and anger out on the court ... and work off some chocolate.. or is that work up an appetite?
After lunch, James & I went tobogganing with one of his friends. They had a great time and the weather, although a bit cold, was not too bad - not unBEARably cold and hardly any wind. Yep. I went down a few times in a zipfy - fantastically speedy mini luges.... gliding down at full speed.. and almost into the creek. The climb back up was probably more nerve wracking, as the hill was a bit icy.
As you can imagine, I had a hard time convincing two 10 yr olds to make a stop at Timmies on the way home. They had lemonade... I had a hot chocolate (not that I needed to really say this).. and chocolate timbits of course.
Did I mention that I just had to return something at Michael's... and did I happen to mention that they had certain substances on sale... hehehe.. a few may have followed me home :) It was tough, but someone had to do this... it's up there with forcing me to go to Gitta's.
OK, so here's another aha - inserting a photo....
so here's a photo of the substances that followed me home today...
(aha - I can even insert comments!)
aha! - it worked! Watch out world, I can post PHOTOS on my blog!!! oh look - I can even drag the comments and photos around! hehehe I'm a blogging dragging fool... uh wait that didn't sound right...
aha! - you can even RESIZE the photos... notice I did not make them too too big, lest you drool all over the keyboard
David's chocolate - never tried it before, and I highly recommend it... especially the Maple Crunch and the Snowflake Truffles. There may be some left at the stores. The BEST part was there was NO nuts in the ingredients. Me happy.
So I think I'll finish off the evening with some stitching.. there are expectations to be lived up to ya know... and tomorrow's a guild meeting....Some may go into shock when they find out I haven't finished anything so far this year... but that's another story.
